The Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost
We want the generosity of God, which is why we are here today, to emanate from this place, and for the love of God to connect with people. Parched people, like the people of Nineveh. Lonely people. Isolated people.
The east wall keeps the structure in place. The new staff person engages the community to reach people. People here today. People who will arrive tomorrow. People yet conceived. We want to make a generous reach to our community, in an intentional way, to share the generosity that has touched us. Hide it under a bushel? No way! We’re gonna let it shine!
