It’s easy for us to point our fingers at those [religious] leaders and wonder why and how they could question the authority, the power, of Jesus. And then I am reminded that sometimes… often… we get it wrong, too. Sometimes we are so certain we are right, and sometimes we miss the ways in which God shows up, and not only do we not change our minds, we won’t change our trajectories, and we refuse to be rerouted. And so I’m grateful that Jesus offers the parable that we read this morning….
