First…he eats fish specifically to prove that it’s really him, the once dead but now alive Jesus, who is definitely in a real body because, as everyone knows, ghosts don’t eat fish.

Second, in the midst of all this joyous insanity Jesus stands up and says, “let’s have a Bible study!!!”

To prove it’s really him – to deal with their disbelief and fear – Jesus prescribes food and Bible study.
