Sunday School for All Ages!

Collaborative Zoom Sunday School

Join with Ravenswood Covenant to discuss Jay Phelan’s book Separated Siblings in this four-week series.

Focusing on content from his new book Separated Siblings: An Evangelical Understanding of Jews and Judaism, former North Park Theological Seminary Professor and Dean Jay Phelan will lead this four-week collaborative discussion for North Park Covenant and Ravenswood Covenant churches.

We will begin on Sunday, February 28, and end on Sunday, March 21. The time of the class is from 9:30 to 10:20 am. The weekly Zoom link will be sent out via our church emails each Friday prior. If you do not receive those emails but would like to receive the links for these classes, please reach out to Ann-Marie Frisk.

Sunday School for Children

This pandemic hasn’t been a whole lot of fun for any of us, and it has changed just about everything we normally do—including Sunday school. While we continue to try to keep ourselves and one another safe, we will not be having in-person Sunday school for kids in preschool through 6th grade. Instead we will be meeting online each Sunday morning, and we invite you to join us!

  • When: Sundays from 9:30-10 am
  • How: Via Zoom (Please email Pastor Libby at to get the Zoom link.)
  • Who: Kids in preschool through 6th grade, along with Sunday School teachers
  • What: We will be using the Justice Journey Curriculum that the Evangelical Covenant Church produced. Each week will involve an opening ice breaker/game, a short lesson, and then a breakout room session, by age as much as possible. Kids will also be given supply bags of items to help them participate each week.

Other Pandemic Sunday School Changes

Typically at North Park Covenant Church, we have Sunday school for all ages on Sunday morning, but the pandemic has changed all of our usual community norms.

For 7th and 8th grade students participating in Confirmation, we are using a hybrid meeting model. Reach out to Pastor Jeff for meeting details.

For the next season, Adult Sunday School and the coffee lounge gathering space are on hold.
