Come Walk for Water!
For several years, World Vision has sponsored a 6K Walk for Water to fund clean water projects around the world. The walk will take place on Saturday, May 17, this year. Unfortunately, Chicago does not have a sponsored walk this year, as it has in the past. But if you would like to walk 6 km (roughly 3¾ miles) or any part thereof to support the cause, you can register as part of the NPCC team here. If you’re unable to join the NPCC crew on May 17 but would still like to walk and raise funds, you can register as an individual here.
We’ll meet on the sanctuary steps at 10:30 am and walk in the North Park neighborhood. Please contact the church office with any questions.
Pray for a cool, dry day, put on some comfortable shoes, and have water bottles at the ready. It’s an easy and fun way to help our neighbors around the world.
