Community Service & Outreach

North Park Covenant Church is a neighborhood church. Almost 50% of our members live within walking distance of the church. We are active in the community in a number of ways, including our neighborhood food pantry (the Friendship Center), tutoring for Peterson School students, our cooperative preschool, youth programs, and adult athletic activities. A list of these programs follows. In addition, several other programs use space in our church, including Alcoholics Anonymous, the Chicago Children’s Choir-Albany Park Branch, and area elementary and high-school team sports! We have been on this corner for over 100 years, always rooted in this community, and always seeking new ways to reach out, serve, and make friends.

We also enjoy serving the wider community when opportunities arise. One favorite way to do this is to spend time at Feed My Starving Children, packing meals for children in under-served areas of the world.
