The Board of Deacons works with the pastoral staff to care for the spiritual life of the church and its community. They provide support and guidance for worship life, participating in arrangements pertaining to the sacraments and memorial services; ensure that all who come to worship are welcomed through greetings, hospitality, and invitations to participate in church life; assist in ministering to the sick, shut-ins, those with personal needs, and newcomers; and ensure that members and friends maintain a meaningful relationship with the church.
